La saveur des livres
Paris FRANCE
2012
About
Held over four days at Frontiera Gallery in Paris, this four-day event celebrated the independent spirit of a singular publishing house that brings together artists and writers through a collection of limited-edition books. The project created a setting for encounters, discussions, and discoveries centered on the art of publishing.
The design approach sought to reflect the distinctive identity of Éditions de la revue Conférence, whose publications occupy a space between literature, visual arts, and craftsmanship. Through a restrained and carefully articulated display, the exhibition highlighted the materiality of the books and the dialogue they establish between text, image, and object.
As publisher Christophe Carraud describes it: “What do Éditions de la revue Conférence offer? Genuine objects—bodies of texts, in the spirit of Montaigne’s library. Beginnings where mind and hand converge, where inner libraries come to life and breathe.”
Conceived as an invitation to contemplation and exchange, the project provided visitors with an intimate environment in which to engage with the works and the editorial vision that unites them.
