Dedicated to Charles Frederick Worth (1825\u20131895), the MUS Suresnes exhibition explored the extraordinary career of the founder of haute couture, tracing his ascent from ambitious entrepreneur to an influential figure whose innovative working methods transformed the fashion industry.
Visitors were also invited to discover Worth\u2019s residence in Suresnes, later converted into Foch Hospital in 1936.
The exhibition design concept drew inspiration from the language of fashion itself, revealing the making processes and hidden mechanics of couture. By bringing the backstage world of creation into view, the design established a dialogue between heritage, craftsmanship, and transmission. Graphic design and typography further reinforced this interplay between past and present, supporting a rigorous curatorial narrative through a visual approach that was both contemporary and understated.
Particular attention was given to the project\u2019s technical and constructive principles, guided by a commitment to restraint, reversibility, and efficiency. Combining aesthetic ambition with budgetary responsibility and sustainable design strategies, the display was conceived as an elegant, functional, and adaptable environment capable of evolving over time.<\/h6><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
